Librarian
St. Vincent de Paul Library provides a variety of
resources and books to enhance and enrich the curriculum areas. The
students visit the library once a week to check out and exchange books.
Donations
Donations of books are welcome. Please donate hard back books in
excellent condition. Hard back books are the best to donate to the
library.
Mission Statement
Guided by the Holy Spirit and inspired by the Word of
God, the mission of
St. Vincent de Paul Library is:
| -to support the
mission of the school |
| -to help each student
develop a love for reading |
| -to enable students
to become effective users of information, and |
| -equip students to
become life long readers in Christ centered environment. |
Birthday Books
St. Vincent de Paul School invites you
to participate in our
Birthday Book Program.
Do you have a special birthday or event you would like to commemorate?
Please consider donating a book to St. Vincent de Paul School Library. The
cost to donate a book is $10.00. Talk with Mrs. Kimbrough about special
titles that you might like to contribute. The book you select will be
inscribed with the message you choose. For example, "Donated in honor and
celebration of ------------'s 10th
birthday, school year 2006/2007.
Memorial Book
Memorial books are an excellent way to honor family members
or friends. For a $10.00 fee an inscription will be placed in a book of
your choice in honor of your loved one or friend. The book will be
acknowledged at school the next day or on a date otherwise indicated.
Volunteers
Help your child's class during
it's library visit each week. Volunteers can help reshelf books or read to
the students. Volunteers are always appreciated.
In God's Service,

I am the library, I am neither walls nor
shelves, nor even the books that stand in rows.
I am wisdom of the universe, captured and
arranged by you. I am an open door.
